Second “Mother-Baby” department completed!

The second “Mother-Baby” project at NBH has been completed successfully! Director Olga Ivanovna and her staff are very happy. Mothers with their newborn are using the new facility already!

Sofia needs to go to Kiev
December 2020
Sofia was brought to Kiev for her second surgery at the end of August. The operation was long and difficult. After the operation, Sofia spent 20 days in the intensive care unit.
Natalya needs to go to Kharkov
Update 13.9.2020
Nataliya had a successful operation last week. Now the child has to wear this terrible plaster construction for a while. We decided to transport Nataliya back to Nikolaev. Here she gets better care.Then we have to bring the girl back to Kharkov for an inspection and to remove the cast.
Egor needs to go to 2 hospitals in Kiev
Egor was born in July of 2019 and in September he arrived at NBH. Egor has cleft lip and congenital heart disease, amongst other health issues.
The boy needs to be taken to Kiev to two hospital: KCC (Kiev’s Cardio Center) and Institute of oral and maxillofacial surgery for children. At KCC cardiologists need to decide, if they allow the narcosis and opeeration and if so, when.
Stanislav needs to go to Kiev
Stanislav suffers from Congenital heart disease. He needs to travel to Kiev for operation. We need to buy train tickets and pay a nurse to acompany him and stay with him at the hospital in Kiev.
Contactless digital thermometer for ZuBS
About 200 young people are living at boarding school Zurupinsk (ZuBS) in Oleshky and all are physically disabled.
Now because of the corona virus, the temperature of all children has to be checked several times a day, which is an almost impossible task.

The child is still weak but the doctors are confident that everything will be fine soon.
